1. Skipping Breakfast Or Having It Late

When you skip your breakfast, you get hunger pangs midtime during your day. When you allow your body to starve, it makes you want to consume junk food that’ll immediately satisfy your hunger but is extremely unhealthy. You might end up having headaches if you stay hungry for the initial hours of your day. There’s a time and routine one must follow for their meals. So if you are having your breakfast late then it’s of no use, either. According to dietician Anjali Siddhartha, it’s important to have your breakfast within one hour of waking up. You might even overeat if you are having your breakfast late and we all know that just adds to the body fat and will probably make you feel lazy all day long.

2. Eating Only High-Carb Food

It doesn’t matter which meal of the day it is, it has to be balanced, especially if it’s your breakfast. Eating only high-carb food for breakfast might help you give you instant energy but it will harm you in the long run. Your breakfast must include elements of fat, carbohydrate as well as proteins. Though, if you can’t invest too much time every day in the morning for preparing your breakfast, you must at least have food that’s rich in protein. Food items that have high protein will keep your tummy full for a longer period of time than food that’s not. So try and avoid biting those muffins on your way and maybe replace it with an apple.

3. Drinking Just Tea Or Coffee For Breakfast

Tea or coffee are two beverages we all can’t have enough of but the problem comes when we drink just these beverages for breakfast. Caffeine consumption is one of the biggest reasons for anxiousness, insomnia as well as high blood pressure in adults. It is okay to have one or two cups of tea or coffee in a day but anything more than that is harmful. If you feel you are addicted to these beverages, you need to cut down. In order to lose weight, you must switch to green tea instead of the traditional milk, sugar tea. For coffee, make sure you have it with a proper meal and don’t drink coffee post sunset. It causes a lack of sleep and if you want to stay fit, you need to eat right, drink right and sleep right.
