Ducati have launched the special edition 959 Panigale Corse in India at a price of Rs 15.2 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, India), which is Rs. 67,000 more than the standard version of the 959 Panigale.
This special edition sports the red and white livery paint scheme of Ducati’s MotoGP race bikes, which adds more drama and sportiness to the already fast and desirable motorbike.
Engine And Suspension
The 959 Panigale Corse will still have the same 955 cc engine that produces 157 Bhp and 107.4 Nm of torque, that can accelerate to 100 km/h from standstill in just six seconds.
The Panigale Corse is meant to be driven hard and has a great suspension package. The 959 has fully adjustable Showa forks in the front and a Sachs rear suspension which is also fully adjustable, while the bike is fitted with grippy Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres in the front and back.
Ducati have announced that the bike will not include the Ohlins suspensions, Ducati Performance titanium silencers by Akrapovic, Ohlins steering damper and lithium battery, which is available in the global version of this motorbike.
The Ducati 959 Panigale Corse has several state-of-the-art features and gadgets that will help you maximise the true potential the bike has with its Engine Brake Control, Ducati Quick Shift, and Ride by Wire technologies.
The superbike also has two channel ABS from Bosch and Ducati Traction control to keep you safe while riding on the road. The bike’s three riding modes - Race, Sport, and Wet settings tweak the power output and delivery.
The bike has stiff competition, with several manufacturers offering superbikes in a similar price range.
